With today's sedentary lifestyle, there are a rising number of children becoming
obese each year. As it can be caused by a number of different factors that are
mostly centered around poor eating habits, the logical way that you can prevent
this from happening to your child is by teaching him or her the basics of healthy
eating habits. Obesity - a threat to your kid's fitness is a serious matter so if you
want to help keep your child in tip top shape, here are a few things that you can
do to fight it. Encourage your child to socialize, one of the reasons children are not
as active these days is because they spend their time socializing through the net.
By getting your children out and involved in activities such as football, badminton or
other physical activities will allow them to socialize normally.


Integrate sports into your family's lifestyle - sports can play a major factor in making
your child more active so if you want him or her to have a healthy and active lifestyle,
you should take up a sport that the whole family can participate in.  Make your sport
a part of your bonding routine with the family so that you can all enjoy the health
